The Golflok Security Device

Golflok Ltd have devised a simple but effective "deterrent". Just as you would lock up your car or bicycle, you can now lock up your bag, clubs and even trolley. It is easy to use, and very quick, you can carry it around with you in your golf bag, ensuring that a visit to the Clubhouse or changing rooms can now be made with the peace of mind that your bag, clubs and trolley have a protection system installed.

A padded cover not only hides the types of clubs you have, but has a steel reinforced cable which forms a noose around your club shafts. This noose when tightened and locked in position with the clever lockable sliding coupling c/w combination padlock, will lock your bag and clubs when the cable is passed through your golf bag handle and attached to a fixed object such as a "GolfLok" security bracket or any fixed object.

Your bag, clubs and trolley are now protected from being easily picked up and carried off without a trace.

Theft From Golf Clubs

Golf bag and club theft is a growing problem within the United Kingdom, more and more Golf Clubs are reporting an increase in the theft of bag and clubs. When you consider that a club golfer can possess in excess of £1,500.00 worth of Golf clubs and bag, it is no wonder that they are such attractive targets for thieves.

Golf bags and clubs are also a very easy target as they are frequently left unattended outside the Clubhouse or Pro Shop. It does not take a lot of effort to steal a bag and clubs, all the thief has to do is dress like a golfer, casually walk up to the unattended bag, pick it up and casually walk out. It is likely that no other Golfers challenge them because they think they are a member or visitor!

Some Golf clubs have installed security cameras. These offer a small amount of protection but bags and clubs still get stolen. The thief usually dons a cap, keeps their head down and walks out. The camera does not stop the physical action of the thief picking the bag and clubs up and the footage is often useless in being able to identify the perpetrator.

How to Use the GolfLok Security Device

1. Take out of Golf bag, ready to install.

2. Place cover over club heads, ensuring all club heads are completely inside the GolfLok cover.

6. Return loop end to coupling and feed padlock through aligned hole/holes in coupling with loop end attached. Snap padlock closed.
